Turn Wild
Ian McClelland
Ian is a member of the British Association of International Mountain Leaders, has over a decade of mountaineering experience, and believes that hikers have two key responsibilities in any wilderness: a responsibility to keep themselves safe, and a responsibility to enjoy the beauty of their surroundings. Both of these responsibilities are upheld when they get their physical and mental conditioning right. This is why Turn Wild emphasises the training and preparation before a trek is just as important as the trek itself.
Besides leading treks for Turn Wild, Ian is a trustee for a substance abuse charity, a martial arts enthusiast (he has competed in Muay Thai competitions, and holds a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu), has spoken on expedition planning at the Royal Geographical Society, and also helps run the Duke of Edinburgh programme at a local London state school. Husband to Kiran, father to Ari and Daya, Ian is good company on the mountain. Contact him 07901 916169 or ian@turnwild.com for a no obligation discussion about Turn Wild’s 2020 itinerary.

Bellydance With Nadia Undine
Nadia Undine
Nadia discovered ‘bellydancing’ (for want of a better word) whilst staying in Morocco in the Summer of 2000 and was inspired to take lessons when she returned to London. Since then this beautiful dance has taken her on many journeys and continues to do so.
In 2008 she travelled to India and joined an entertainment team and danced at various events on land and sea.
In 2011 she travelled to Egypt and lived in Cairo for nearly two years in order to study the dance further and learn Arabic.
Nearly twenty years after first seeing ‘bellydance’ Nadia is still captivated by the emotionality and diversity within this dance and is looking forward to performing for you at Odyssphere!
